A young boy selling balloons on a Sunday morning. I pray to God that one day he will be living a better life. Just dream boy, just dream and go for them.

A man, waiting for a bite. His catch will be his lunch or if he's lucky, will last for the whole day.

The lady at the house of God
The lady at the house of God
An old lady at the church. I was watching her for a while. She's not really begging for money, but just stands there. She has a very beautiful face, one can even tell how beautiful she was when she was younger. Her tattooed eyebrows and sharp nose, tells something about her past and her ancestry. I kept on wondering what happened to her, what made her to what she is and what is she doing there. I can tell she's not like that in the past, but what happened?

When everyone went home
When everyone went home
Manila's Red Light district, early in the morning, when everyone was either taken home or went home.

Oh my morning
Oh my morning
Near the front of a famous gay club. All that's left after a night of merry drinking and dancing, are the scandalous stories of love and lust on the street where many hearts find refuge and cravings indulged.

Susi?
Susi?
Susi or sushi?

A peaceful scene on an Easter Sunday morning. A piece of a little peace, in the middle of Manila's clubbing district.

  7. good, you always do shoots na.

    constructive criticism lang -

    streets are brilliant when in high-contrast b/w = just my 2 cents.

    look for patterns then compose mo yung subject along with the chosen pattern.

    the old lady, rule of thirds my friend.

    i'll teach you techniques sa lightroom 3.

  9. @Spiral Prince: Thank you, and you will.

    @Musingan: Thanks!

    @Nimmy: I shoot in JPEG.

    @Chemistryguy: Thank you! Yup, the 2nd part is ready to be posted and all are in black and white. The old layd, I'll show you the original file, it is already cropped. Cannot move the subject to the right anymore nor crop the rightmost part, may kulang na kapag ginawa ko yun. Sige1 You can teach me some Lightroom techniques, although I only have Lightroom 1.4, 3 cannot run on my ancient Mac anymore. You know how old my machine is. tara, shoot na tayto!

    @Kikomaxx: Thank you!

  12. I had this thoughts of having the perfect place to have nice shots. But what you did is to make ordinary places look good. Ganda. Kailangan mo akong turuan! haha.

  13. @Xall; Any place is a perfect place, it is what you see and how you capture it that matters. Surely! Let schedule it.
